Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a used battery unit holder and a used battery unit storage system with which it is possible for used battery units from various manufacturers to be stored and transported easily, while suppressing degradation of the used battery units during storage. [Solution] Provided is a holder for used battery units, which can be detachably attached to a storage device for storing a plurality of used battery units. The used battery unit holder is provided with: a connecting unit which is connected in such a way that a used battery unit, held in the holder, can be charged and discharged by way of a circuit of the storage device; a battery condition recognizing unit for recognizing the battery condition of the used battery unit; a charge/discharge instruction acquiring unit for acquiring charge/discharge instruction information; and a charge/discharge management unit for discharging a battery unit to be discharged, or charging a battery unit to be charged, in accordance with the charge/discharge instruction information, in such a way that the state of charge (SOC) lies within a prescribed SOC range.
