Abstract:
Provided is a system that can suppress transportation costs for used secondary batteries and that enables used secondary batteries to be sold inexpensively. The used secondary battery reuse system of the present invention supports the reuse of used secondary batteries that were used as secondary batteries for driving vehicles. The used secondary battery reuse system is provided with: a purchase interest information reception unit that receives purchase interest information for a used secondary battery; a trade-in interest information reception unit that receives trade-in interest information including information that expresses a degradation state of a secondary battery installed in a vehicle; an extraction unit that extracts purchase interest information for which the application of a used secondary battery suits the degradation state included in the trade-in interest information; a selling price determination unit that determines a selling price of the secondary battery for trade-in; a transportation cost estimating unit that estimates the cost for transporting, from each trade-in facility to a delivery location, secondary batteries for trade-in; and a trade-in price determination unit that determines a trade-in price at each trade-in facility on the basis of the transportation cost and selling price of the secondary battery for trade-in.
