Abstract:
Provided are a useful information candidate output device and output method capable of reducing the man-hours required for constructing a monitoring system. This useful information output device (1000) comprises: a control unit (110); and a database (210) in which, for each of a plurality of properties in which a plurality of pieces of equipment is installed, attribute information on the property and useful information useful for constructing a monitoring system for the property are stored in association with each other, and outputs candidates for useful information for a target property. The control unit acquires first attribute information, which is the attribute information of the target property, and identifies similar properties having attribute information similar to the first attribute information by referencing the database. The control unit outputs at least a portion of the useful information on the similar properties as candidates for useful information of the target property by referencing the database. The attribute information includes at least one among the use of the property, the total floor area, the number of floors, the number of rooms on each floor, the use of each room, the type of equipment installed in each room, and the number of pieces of equipment installed in each room.
