Abstract:
A user device performs intermittent reception with a frequency different from a
frequency of a cell existing in and belonging to a certain radio access network or
in another radio access network. The user device includes means for receiving and
demodulating a control signal; and means for performing cell search with a specified
frequency. In response to reception of an RRC release signal, the user device
is switched to a backup intermittent reception mode for intermittently receiving
the control signal in the cell existing in the cell. Cell search is performed
between the intermittent reception timings with a different frequency or in
another radio access network. After this, the user device is switched to the
main intermittent reception mode from the backup mode with the different frequency
or in another access network.
