A user device comprising: a transmission unit which transmits data, to another user device, via a physical shared channel arranged in a first period in a resource pool; a reception unit which senses a second period in the resource pool which is before the first period; and a control unit which, on the basis of the result of the sensing of the second period, determines a symbol for placing the physical shared channel in the first period.
