The present invention relates to the field of information technology, and discloses user equipment and a method and device for sending periodic CSI, enabling sending of CSI if a transmission duration corresponding to an uplink subframe or a downlink subframe is not 1 ms. The method comprises: user equipment firstly determining, according to transmission duration information, a resource for reporting channel state information (CSI) in an uplink direction, wherein the resource required for reporting the CSI in the uplink direction is a resource corresponding to a transmission duration equal to or unequal to 1 ms; and sending the CSI by employing the resource required for reporting the CSI in the uplink direction. The present invention is applicable in scenarios in which a transmission duration corresponding to an uplink subframe or a downlink subframe is not 1 ms, and can be employed to determine a resource required for reporting CSI in the uplink direction or for performing a CSI measurement in the downlink direction, and then send the CSI.
