Abstract:
A user estimation device is equipped with an extraction unit (11), a learning unit (12), and an estimation unit (14). From data to be learned, that is, data representing a user's requests to a website, the extraction unit extracts a page navigation sequence for the user on the website, and/or the time interval for navigation to each page, as a characteristic amount for the user's page browsing, and, from data to be estimated, that is, data representing any user's requests to a website, the extraction unit extracts a page navigation sequence on the website, and/or the time interval for navigation to each page, as a characteristic amount for the user's page browsing. The learning unit creates a model indicating the page browsing characteristic of each user, by learning a characteristic amount to be learned, that is, the extracted characteristic amount of page browsing of each user. The estimation unit references the model and the characteristic amount of page browsing of each user to be estimated, and estimates which user the user is.
