Abstract:

A user terminal according to one embodiment of the present invention transmits uplink data to a base station using an unlicensed band. The user terminal is provided with a control unit for performing a process, when starting transmission of uplink data in accordance with the result of monitoring the unlicensed band from the middle of a sub-frame, to transmit a specific signal different from the uplink data at the beginning of the uplink data.
