Abstract:
This vacuum circuit breaker comprises a main circuit switching unit, an operating mechanism unit, and a link mechanism unit, wherein: the operating mechanism unit has a mechanism part that operates the switching of electrodes of the main circuit switching unit via the link mechanism unit; grease is applied, as a lubricant, to gaps between some moving sections of the mechanism part and pins that axially support said some moving sections, among gaps between moving sections of the mechanism part and pins that axially support the moving sections; a coating material is applied, as a lubricant, to gaps between other moving sections and pins that axially support said other moving sections, among the gaps between the moving sections of the mechanism part and the pins that axially support the moving sections; and as a result, lubricant performance can be maintained over a long period without requiring injection of the lubricant.
