Abstract:
A vacuum device in which air tightness of a vacuum container is sufficiently maintained even
if the device is reduced in size. A photoelectron intensifier tube (1) has a flat
plate-like lower substrate (4); a frame (3b) raised on the lower substrate (4);
an upper substrate (2) including a frame (3a) air tightly joined to an opening of
the frame (3b) with low melting point metal in between; and frame-like projections (25b)
arranged side-by-side inside the frame (3b) on the lower substrate (4).
