Abstract:
The vacuum pump according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with a first unit and a second unit. The first unit has a rotor core, a first rotating shaft, which supports the rotor core, and which extends in one axis direction, and a pump housing that houses the first rotating shaft therein. The second unit has a cylindrical member, a stator core, a motor housing, a seal ring, and a regulation member. The cylindrical member has an open end section and a closed end section, and houses the rotor core therein. The stator core is disposed around the cylindrical member. The motor housing houses the cylindrical member and the stator core therein, and is connected to the pump housing. The seal ring is disposed between the cylindrical member and the motor housing. The regulation member is attached to the motor housing, and faces, in the one axis direction, the open end section of the cylindrical member.
