Abstract:
Provided is a vacuum valve that can maintain electrical insulation of an insulating cylinder even if current interruption is executed repeatedly. A vacuum valve (100) is provided with: a cylindrical insulating cylinder that has insulating properties; a mobile-side end plate (2) that blocks an end section on one side of this insulating cylinder; a fixed-side end plate (3) that blocks an end section on the other side of this insulating cylinder; a mobile-side electrode (6) disposed on a lead-end section of a mobile-side conductive shaft (4) that is disposed so as to pass through the mobile-side end plate; a fixed-side electrode (7) disposed, facing the mobile-side electrode, on a lead-end section of a fixed-side conductive shaft (5) that is disposed so as to pass through the fixed-side end plate; and strongly magnetic bodies (14b, 14d) disposed on an inner surface (1n) of this insulating cylinder. Furthermore, these strongly magnetic bodies have a magnetic field component aligned in a direction normal to the inner surface of this insulating cylinder.
