Abstract:
This valve device according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a casing that has an outflow port having formed therein a fluid outflow hole that opens in a first direction; a joint that is joined to an opening end surface of the outflow hole in the outflow port; a valve that is rotatably or slidably contained inside the casing and that has formed therein a communication hole that is capable of communication with the outflow hole; and a sliding ring that has a sliding surface that slides on the outer surface of the valve while contained inside the outflow port, and that allows the outflow hole and the communication hole to communicate in accordance with a rotating position or a sliding position of the valve. At least the outer surface of the valve comprises a first resin material that includes a first resin as a main ingredient, and at least the sliding surface of the sliding ring comprises a second resin material that includes a second resin as a main ingredient, wherein the first resin and the second resin are the same type of resin.
