Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a valve mechanism (A), comprising a bottle (10) where the liquid essence is stored and a wick (90) by which the liquid essence is absorbed, which is used in the fragrance dispensers (D) which allows the fragrance essence to be spread to the ambient for the purpose of ambient odorization in all kinds of places. The invention comprises; a lower chamber (20) under the mentioned bottle (10) where the liquid essence flowing out of the bottle (10) is fed, a button seal (40) which is located at the bottom of the said lower chamber (20) and which can move up and down at the bottom of the lower chamber (20), a cover (70) which is introduced on the mentioned button seal (40) with and which is surrounded by culverts (71) in order to allows the liquid essence inside the bottle (10) to flow into the lower chamber (20) and to reach to the liquid essence level (h), an pusher pin (50) which is introduced inside the mentioned cover (70) and can perform up and down motion, a spring (60) located on the mentioned pusher pin (50) and continuously applying downward force to the pusher pin (50), a wad (80) which is located on the upper surface of the mentioned cover (70) in order to close the upper surface of the cover (70) and which is connected to the upper end of the pusher pin (50).

CLAIMS

1. A valve mechanism (A), comprising a bottle (10) where the liquid essence is stored and a wick (90) by which the liquid essence is absorbed, which is used in the fragrance dispensers (D) which allows the fragrance essence to be spread to the ambient for the purpose of ambient odorization in ail kinds of places, characterized by comprising; a lower chamber (20) under the mentioned bottle (10) where the liquid essence flowing out of the bottle (10) is fed, a button seal (40) which is located at the base of the said lower chamber (20) and which can move up and down at the bottom of the lower chamber (20), a cover (70) which is introduced on the mentioned button seal (40) with and which is surrounded by culverts (71) in order to allows the liquid essence inside the bottle (10) to flow into the lower chamber (20) and to reach to the liquid essence level (h), an pusher pin (50) which is introduced inside the mentioned cover (70) and can perform up and down motion, a spring (60) located on the mentioned pusher pin (50) and continuously applying downward force to the pusher pin (50), a wad (80) which is located on the upper surface of the mentioned cover (70) in order to close the upper surface of the cover (70) and which is connected to the upper end of the pusher pin (50).

2. A valve mechanism (A) according to Claim 1 , characterized by comprising; a gasket (30) located between the mentioned bottle (10) and the lower chamber (20).

A valve mechanism (A) according to Claim 1 , characterized by comprising; an pusher pin (50) which moves in upward direction as result of a force applied from downwards to the mentioned button seal (40) to compress a spring (60) and push the wad (80) located at the upper end in order to open the upper surface of the cover (70).

A valve mechanism (A) according to Claim 1 , characterized by comprising; a wad (80), which causes the upper surface of the cover (70) to open by being moved upwards from the upper surface of the cover (70) by means of the upwards motion of the mentioned pusher pin (50) and which causes liquid essence to flow from the bottle (10) to the lower chamber (80). 5. A valve mechanism (A) according to Claim 4, characterized in that; the mentioned wad (80) is tapered.

A valve mechanism (A) according to Claim 1 , characterized by comprising; culverts (71), introduced around the mentioned cover (70), which prevent air to enter into the bottle (10) by means of the liquid essence flowing into the lower camber (20) reaching the liquid essence level (h) formed by the upper line.

7. A valve mechanism (A) according to Claim 6, characterized in that; the mentioned culverts (71) has a rectangular hole form.

8. A valve mechanism (A) according to Claim 1 , characterized by comprising; an upper fixing tab (11) which is located at the edges of the mentioned bottle (10) and allows the valve mechanism (A) to be fixed to the fragrance dispenser (D).

9. A valve mechanism (A) according to Claim 1 , characterized by comprising; a lower fixing tab (21) which is located at the edges of the said lower chamber (20) and which allows the valve mechanism (A) to be fixed to the fragrance dispenser (D).

Description:
A valve mechanism for a fragrance dispenser

Technical Field

The present disclosure relates to a valve mechanism used in fragrance dispensers that allows a fragrance essence to be spread into the ambient for ambient odorization in all kinds of places.

The present disclosure in particular relates to a valve mechanism for the fragrance dispenser which allows an essence inside a bottle or any type of container to be absorbed always at the same rate and in the opposite direction of the gravity, depending on the level of the essence, by means of a wick immersed into a lower reservoir and to be spread into the ambient to be odorized by means of an ultrasonic transducer.

State of the Art

In order to provide an ambient with a by changing the atmosphere in the indoor areas, various odorization methods are used. In current applications, one of the most common methods of ambient odorization is the use of fragrance dispensers.

Fragrance dispensers are devices that allow pulverized essences to mix with air by spreading particles into the ambient. In many fragrance dispensers of the state of the art, the fragrance is spread around by placing the wick carrying the fragrance essence directly into the bottle and by absorption of the fragrance in the direction of gravity. Therefore, the efficiency of the fragrance emitted by the wick is directly proportional to the amount of liquid in the bottle and the performance of the device decreases as the amount of liquid decreases.

One of the examples encountered in the literature research is the document no. TR 2016/06725. The mentioned document relates to a fragrance dispenser comprising a bottle type fragrance cartridge and a special insertion slot for the bottle type fragrance cartridge.

In this invention, a bottle type fragrance cartridge comprising an air inlet pipe that allows the accelerated air blown from the fragrance dispenser to reach the fragrance liquid and a spray outlet nozzle that allows the spray of ventilated fragrance droplets from the fragrance liquid through the accelerated air and a fragrance dispenser to which the fragrance cartridge is inserted.

Another example of the state of the art is document no. TR 2010/02015. The mentioned document is related to an atomizer for all essential oils, volatile oils, water and oil-based liquids used for ambient odorization and provides odorization using micro-diffusion technology. In this invention, it is mentioned that the liquid drawn through a rod with suction in the upwards direction from the bottom of the bottle is sprayed through the nozzle to the ambient by means of a mini air compressor.

Compressors are used in both of the inventions mentioned above. This technique has some disadvantages due to the sound emitted by compressors during the operation of the device, the maintenance needs of compressors and the failure rates. The absorption of the fragrance essence in the opposite direction of the gravity and spreading into the ambient with a particle size adjusted with a transducer is not possible, while the efficiency of the device depends entirely on the level of liquid in the bottle and the quality of the compressor used.

Therefore, due to the aforementioned problems and lack of a solution have made it necessary to make a development in the related technical field.

Purpose of the Invention

The present invention relates to a valve mechanism for a fragrance dispenser, which overcomes the aforementioned disadvantages and brings new advantages to the relevant technical area.

The main purpose of the invention is to ensure that the fragrance essence in any bottle or container is absorbed in the opposite direction of the gravity by means of a wick dipped in the lower chamber. Another purpose of the invention, by means of the developed valve design, is to ensure that the amount of fragrance essence in the lower chamber always remains the same and that the lower end of the wick is always kept in the same level of liquid, so that the amount of liquid carried to the upper surface of the wick touching the transducer is continuous and constant. Another purpose of the invention is to prevent the fragrance efficiency of the fragrance dispenser from changing according to the level of liquid in the bottle. When the liquid level is high, the excess amount of liquid transmitted to the transducer causes leaks at the fragrance outlet of the device, and furthermore, decrease in the amount of transmitted liquid results in a decrease in the amount of the fragrance spread into the ambient and lower device performance.

The invention relates to a valve mechanism comprising a bottle where the liquid essence is stored and a wick by which the liquid essence is absorbed, intended to be used in the fragrance dispensers for the purpose of ambient odorization in all kinds of places in order to fulfill all of the purposes that may arise from the above mentioned and detailed description. The invention comprises; a lower chamber under the mentioned bottle where the liquid essence flowing out of the bottle is fed,

- a button seal which is located at the bottom of the said lower chamber and which can move up and down at the bottom of the lower chamber, a cover which is introduced on the mentioned button seal with and which is surrounded by culverts in order to allows the liquid essence inside the bottle to flow into the lower chamber and to reach to the liquid essence level, an pusher pin which is introduced inside the mentioned cover and can perform up and down motion,

- a spring located on the mentioned pusher pin and continuously applying downward force to the pusher pin,

- a wad which is located on the upper surface of the mentioned cover in order to close the upper surface of the cover and which is connected to the upper end of the pusher pin.

The structural characteristics and all advantages of the invention will be understood more clearly through the following figures and the detailed description written with reference to these figures. Therefore, the evaluation should be based on these figures and the detailed description.

Detailed Description of the Invention

In the herein detailed description, the preferred alternatives of the valve mechanism (A) of the invention are described only for a better understanding of the subject matter, without posing any limitations.

Figure 1 is a disassembled perspective view of the valve mechanism (A) of the invention. Accordingly, in its most basic state, the valve mechanism (A) comprises; a bottle (10), at the upper part of which the liquid essence is stored, a lower chamber (20) located below the mentioned bottle (10), a gasket (30) introduced between the mentioned bottle (10) and the lower chamber (20), a button seal (40) introduced at the bottom of the mentioned lower chamber (20), a cover (70) which is located on the mentioned button seal (40), containing an pusher pin (50) able to move up and down by means of a spring (60) inside it, a wad (80) which is introduced on the mentioned cover (70) and connected to the pusher pin (50), a wick (90) which is introduced from outside of the mentioned bottle (10) to the bottom of the lower chamber (20).

The bottle (10) is the main part where the liquid essence is stored in the valve mechanism (A). A lower chamber (20) is placed under the bottle (10), where the liquid essence flowing from the bottle (10) is fed, and a gasket (30) is introduced between the bottle (10) and the lower chamber (20).

At the bottom of the lower chamber (20), there is a button seal (40) that allows the valve mechanism (A) to be opened. The mentioned button seal (40) has the ability to move up and down at the base of the lower chamber (20) and has a protruding form towards the outside of the lower chamber (20).

A cover (70) with rectangular hole-shaped culverts (71) is placed on the button seal (40) to allow the liquid essence in the bottle (10) to flow into the lower chamber (20). Inside the mentioned cover (70) is a pusher pin (50) that moves up and down in the center of the button seal (40). There is a spring (60) on the pusher pin (50). At the same time, a tapered wad (80) located on the cover (70) is connected to the upper end of the pusher pin (50). The spring (60) continuously applies downward force to the pusher pin (50), enabling the wad (80) to close the upper surface of the cover (70).

An absorbent wick (90) is placed on the base of the lower chamber (20), which is located outside the bottle (10), allowing the liquid essence to spread to the ambient.

The valve mechanism (A) seen in Figures 2 and 3 is fixed into the fragrance dispenser (D) by means of an upper fixing tab (11 ) on the edges of the bottle (10) and the lower fixing tab (21) on the edges of the lower chamber (20), making it ready for use as shown in Figure 6.

The operational principle of the valve mechanism (A) is as follows;

As seen in Figures 4 and 4a, the pusher pin (50) is moved upwards by compressing the spring (60) by a force applied from downwards to the button seal (40) of the valve mechanism (A) from the fragrance dispenser (D). The pusher pin (50) moving in the upward direction pushes the wad (80) located at the upper end of its and the wad (80) provides to be opened of the upper surface of the cover (70). The liquid essence in the bottle (10) enters in between the upper surface of the cover (70) and the wad (80) and passes through the culverts (71) and flows into the lower chamber (20). When the liquid essence reaches the liquid essence level (h) formed by the upper line of the culverts (71) on the cover (70), the atmospheric pressure and the pressure inside the bottle (10) are balanced. In this way, air entry into the bottle (10) is not possible and fluid flow is interrupted at the liquid essence level (h) formed by the upper line of the culverts (71). As seen in Figures 5 and 5a the liquid essence filling into the lower chamber (20) is absorbed by the wick (90) and since the pressure exerted onto the bottom surface (91) of the wick (90) is constant, the flow rate of the liquid essence at the upper surface (92) of the wick (90) is carried continuous and steady in the upwards direction.

If the flow rate of liquid essence carried to the upper surface (92) of the wick (90) is finished, the liquid essence in the lower chamber (20) decrease and fall below the liquid essence level (h) formed by the upper line of the culverts (71). Thereby, the air intake from the culverts (71) on the cover (70) and the fluid essence flows from the bottle (10) to the lower chamber (20) is provided the amount of finished due to the pressure difference.

While the operation cycle of the valve mechanism (A) continues as described above, the filter (D3), which is introduced at the fragrance dispenser (D) and which has absorbed a certain amount of liquid from the wick (90), is in contact with the transducer (D2) by means of a spring (D4) placed under the filter (D3) with a standard pressure and pulverized liquid mixed with air is provided through the venturi chinmey (D1).
