Abstract:
The valve according to the invention, in particular the fuel injection valve, is characterized in that there is a valve needle (3) which is oriented in a particularly precise manner. The fuel injection valve (1) comprises an excitable actuator for actuating a valve closing member (4) that forms a sealing seat along with a valve seat surface (6) located on the valve seat member (5), the fuel injection valve (1) further comprising injection orifices (7) that are located downstream of the valve seat surface (6). The valve closing member (4) is spherical and, as part of a valve needle (3) that is axially movable along a longitudinal valve axis (40), is permanently connected to a pin-shaped solid valve needle shaft (45). A contact zone between the valve needle shaft (45) and the valve closing member (4) lies radially outside the longitudinal valve axis (40) and runs peripherally in the form of a ring. The fuel injection valve is particularly suitable for the direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of a mixture-compressing spark-ignition engine.
