Abstract:

Provided is a valve stem seal with which a valve stem guide is easily mounted to a reinforcing ring, and the axial length of the reinforcing ring can be shortened while enabling the reinforcing ring to be stably secured to the valve stem guide.　A cylindrical part 111 of a reinforcing ring 110 is provided with an interlocking protrusion 113 that interlocks with an interlocking recess 210 formed in a valve stem guide 200, and the interlocking protrusion 113 is characterized by having a pair of side surfaces extending parallel to the circumferential direction at the side of an inward flange 112 and the opposite side, and also having a portion where one part protrudes diametrically inward.
