Abstract:
A reciprocating compressor capable of preventing the torsion of discharge valve portions and improving the durability of the same, wherin discharge holes (29b, 30b) are formed in stopper plates (29, 30) so as to substantially surround outer edges of the discharge valve portions (27a, 28a), whereby a high-pressure refrigerant gas flows in an exhaust stroke from discharge ports (3a, 5a) to a discharge chamber (24) via circumferences of the discharge valve portions (27a, 28a) and the discharge holes (29b, 30b), this enabling the refrigerant gas to pass more smoothly from compression chambers (21, 22) to the discharge chamber (24), and the torsion of the discharge valve portions (27a, 28a) to be prevented.
