Abstract:
A valve timing adjustment device 100 equipped with a vane rotor 130, which is secured to an end section 321 of one shaft among a drive shaft 310 and a driven shaft 320, rotates in conjunction therewith, and has formed therein a through-hole 136 penetrating in the axial direction AD, and a hydraulic fluid control valve 10, which has a spool 50 and has a tubular sleeve 20 having a main body section 31 arranged in the through-hole and a securing part 32 inserted into and secured to a shaft securing hole 322 formed on an end section of the one shaft. At least a portion of the through-hole in the axial direction is sealed to the main body section, and the difference X between the size of the shaft securing hole in the radial direction and the size of the securing part in the radial direction is set so as to be greater than the total value of a predetermined coaxiality B of the through-hole and the shaft securing hole and a predetermined coaxiality A of the main body section and the securing part.
