Abstract:
A sprocket 1 comprises: a sprocket main body 1a having, in the outer periphery, a plurality of outer gear portions 1b around which a timing chain 4 is wound; an internal gear constituting member 5 fixed to the sprocket main body in abutment therewith from the axial direction and having a bolt insertion hole 5e formed so as to extend in the axial direction completely through an outer peripheral portion of the internal gear constituting member; an internal thread hole 1d which is provided in the sprocket main body continuously with the bolt insertion hole 5e of the internal gear constituting member from the axial direction and with which an external thread portion 7b of a bolt 7 is engaged for fastening; an annular groove portion 20 provided in the outer periphery of the sprocket main body; and a first oil sump groove 32 which extends from the internal thread hole of the sprocket main body along the axial direction and which is provided on a radially inner side relative to the bottom surface of the annular groove portion. This makes it possible to actively apply lubrication between the outer gear portions and, for example, the timing chain.
