Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a control valve (27) provided to a rotor part (14); a check valve (29) provided inside a recess (30) provided in an inner axial direction of the rotor part, the check valve allowing the inflow of hydraulic pressure only in the control valve direction; a valve seat (43) from/on which a valve body (42) is separated and seated; an axial-direction channel groove (46) provided along the axial direction on a bottom surface (30c) of an inner peripheral surface (30b) of the recess; and a radial direction hole (47) allowing the axial direction channel groove and the control valve to communicate. The valve body has a guide part (50) extending in the axial direction from a head part (49), and four communication paths (50b) that are provided between respective guide pieces (50a) of the guide part and allow a channel hole (43a) and the axial direction channel groove to communicate. This configuration makes it possible to increase control responsiveness of valve timing by inhibiting a reduction in supply speed of hydraulic pressure to each advance/lag actuation chamber.
