Abstract:
A vane pump (100) comprises: a body (10); a cover (20) attached to the body (10); a pump chamber (6) formed by a rotor (2), a cam ring (4), and a vane (3); a first intake port (91) through which working fluid guided to an intake passage (101) is guided to the pump chamber (6); a second intake port (92) through which working fluid guided from the intake passage (101) through a communication channel (102) is guided to the pump chamber (6); and a return passage (120) through which excess working fluid outputted from the pump chamber (6) is guided. The return passage (120) has a body internal passage (121) through which excess fluid flows along an axial direction on the radially outer side of the cam ring (4), and a reversing passage (122) in which excess fluid guided through the body internal passage (121) is reversed toward the second intake port (92).
