Abstract:
A variable blade manufacturing method capable of realizing the mass−production of not only a variable blade but also a VGS type turbo charger formed by assembling the variable blade therein, comprising the steps of machining shaft parts to a specified diameter by rolling not by cutting to maximally eliminate a time−consuming cutting operation from a variable blade manufacturing process, remarkably suppressing the extension of the shaft parts and sharp edges due to rolling, and eliminating the cutting operation performed so far to correct the extension of the shaft parts and sharp edges, characterized in that a metal material forming the prototype of the variable blade (1) having blade parts (11) and shaft parts (12) formed integrally with each other is formed in the state of a near net shape where the shape and dimensions of the material near the specified variable blades (1), the shaft part forming parts of the material are rolled to a specified diameter to form the shaft part (12).
