Abstract:
This variable-capacitance element (10) is provided with a ferroelectric capacitor (C1), a control terminal (P13), a ground terminal (P14), and another capacitor (C2). The ferroelectric capacitor (C1) comprises a ferroelectric film and capacitor electrodes that sandwich said ferroelectric film. The capacitance of the ferroelectric capacitor (C1) changes in accordance with a control voltage applied across the capacitor electrodes. The control terminal (P13) is connected to a first end of the ferroelectric capacitor (C1), and the ground terminal (P14) is connected to a second end of the ferroelectric capacitor (C1). The other capacitor (C2) is connected between the control terminal (P13) and the ground terminal (P14) and has a higher capacitance than the ferroelectric capacitor (C1).
