Abstract:
Provided are a variable capacitance element whereby capacitance variance among variable capacitance elements is further reduced, and a packaged circuit that includes the variable capacitance element. A variable capacitance element (10) is configured such that the variable capacitance element is provided with an element main body section (11), a correcting section (12), an external terminal (13) for first signals, an external terminal (16) for second signals, external terminals (14, 15) for control, and external terminals (17, 18) for capacitance correction. The correcting section (12) has second variable capacitor sections (C9-C11) that include a second dielectric layer formed of a ferroelectric material, said correcting section being connected to the element main body section (11), and changing capacitance corresponding to control voltage signals.
