Abstract:
Provided are an economical variable circumferential length sleeve that is thinner and can be shared by a plurality of rollers of different diameters, and a belt conveyor roller to which the variable circumferential length sleeve is attached. A variable circumferential length sleeve 1, which is attached to the outer circumference of a rotatable roller around which an endless belt is wound, has a configuration in which a sleeve body 2 is expandable in the radial direction by cutting a portion of a circumferential surface 2a in the width direction by a zigzag-shaped cutting line L1, a plurality of recesses 1a and protrusions 1b are formed alternately along the width direction at each of a first cutting end 3a and a second cutting end 3b, and the respective protrusions 1b of the first cutting end 3a and the second cutting end 3b engage the corresponding recesses 1a of the second cutting end 3b and the first cutting end 3a.
