Abstract:
Disclosed is a variable-magnetic-flux-type dynamo-electric machine (1) comprising: a stator (21) having a stator coil (3b); a rotor (30) that is provided with permanent magnets (321), and that has a plurality of magnetic poles; and a short-circuit member (70) that rotates in conjunction with the rotation of the rotor, and that is displaced from a first position toward a second position when not rotating due to centrifugal force during rotation, the magnetic flux between the plurality of magnetic poles short-circuited via the short-circuit member, or the magnetic flux of a permanent magnet alone that is short-circuited via the short-circuit member, being increased to a greater extent when the short-circuit member (70) is positioned in the second position than when positioned in the first position.
