Disclosed are a variable-pitch type feed mechanism and a biofuel furnace using same. The furnace includes a body (1) can be emplaced on the ground and the body (1) has a combustion chamber (10) with a burner (30) inside and an auxiliary device chamber (20) with a fuel delivery mechanism (40) and electrical devices (50) inside. The fuel delivery mechanism (40) comprises a hopper（41）,a feed barrel（42）and a screw feed rod（43）arranged in the feed barrel. The electrical devices（50）comprise a feed motor（52）for driving the screw feed rod（43）to rotate. The feed barrel（42）is formed as a cylindrical-shaped body and comprises a feed end（421）in the auxiliary device chamber (20) and a discharge end (422) at the upper portion of the burner (30). The screw feed rod（43）comprises a middle rod (431) and screw feed blades (432) twist-distributed thereon. The middle rod (431) comprises a tail end (433) coupled with the feed motor（52）. The other free end (434) of the middle rod (431) is arranged at the discharge end (422) of the feed barrel（42）. The pitch h of the screw feed blades (432) increases from the tail end (433) to the free end (434). The present invention avoids jamming during feeding fuel particles and enables the performance of the feed mechanism more stable. Furthermore, energy consumption and noises are reduced because of selecting the smaller power motors.
