Abstract:

While suppressing deformation of an optical substrate, it is possible to change its interval dimension so as to perform accurate spectroscopy of light having a desired wavelength band. A variable spectral element (1) includes: a plurality of optical substrates (3, 4) arranged at an interval and having opposing surface coating layers (2a, 2b); an actuator (5) which is arranged at an interval in the circumferential direction around the center line of the optical substrates (3, 4) and can be expanded/contracted in the interval direction; and a connection member (10) which connects the actuator (5) to the optical substrates (3, 4) at a plurality of positions at an interval in the circumferential direction.
