Abstract:
A varying-gradient overspeed governor rope guiding device and method, which are suitable for guiding an overspeed governor rope of a container running obliquely at a varying gradient or on a varying track due to building shapes or roadway working conditions. The device comprises overspeed governor rope lifting means (5) and overspeed governor rope downward-pressing means (4) that are provided on a slope. An overspeed governor rope (3) is provided above the overspeed governor rope lifting means (5) and below the overspeed governor rope downward-pressing means (4). The overspeed governor rope lifting means (5) prevents the overspeed governor rope from sagging and the overspeed governor rope downward-pressing means (4) prevents the overspeed governor rope from rising, thereby implementing forced guidance for the overspeed governor rope. The varying gradient requirements can thus be met, and overspeed protection for an obliquely container running with a varying gradient can be implemented so that the overspeed governor rope can adapt to the varying gradient. The device is simple in structure, reliable in operation, and convenient to install.
