Abstract:
A cut vegetable product is elongate and comprises a minimum of three longitudinal indentations, wherein the longitudinal indentations are regularly spaced around a perimeter of the cut vegetable product such that a cross-section of the cut vegetable product is rotationally symmetric, and wherein the longitudinal indentations are shaped such that a maximum distance of any point within the cut vegetable product to a closest surface of the cut vegetable product is less than or equal to one third of the maximum dimension of the cross-section. A method and apparatus for producing such a cut vegetable product are also disclosed.
