Abstract:
The present invention is provided with the function of an antenna and another electrical function different from that of an antenna. Provided is a vehicle antenna apparatus comprising: a first dielectric plate having a main surface; a second dielectric plate disposed directly or indirectly at the main surface of the first dielectric plate; a first electrically conductive layer disposed between a first intermediate film and a second intermediate film between the first dielectric plate and the second dielectric plate; an electrically conductive frame disposed between the first dielectric plate and the first intermediate film, between the second dielectric plate and the second intermediate film, or on the opposite side from the main surface relative to the second dielectric plate, the electrically conductive frame having an inner edge following an outer edge of the first electrically conductive layer in plan view of the first dielectric plate; an electric power feed unit electrically connected to the electrically conductive frame; and a voltage control unit electrically connected to the first electrically conductive layer, the voltage control unit including an electric power supply and controlling a voltage applied to the first electrically conductive layer. The electrically conductive frame has a lower electrical resistance than the first electrically conductive layer, and functions as a part of an antenna for transmitting and receiving a radio wave in a prescribed frequency band.
