Abstract:
This vehicle antenna device comprises a dielectric plate for a vehicle, and an antenna mounted to the dielectric plate. The antenna includes a dielectric layer which is disposed along a curved surface of the dielectric plate, a conductive layer which is laminated on the dielectric layer and has a planar pattern formed thereon, a feeding portion which is electrically connected to the planar pattern, and an electronic component which is electrically connected to the conductive layer and has a higher rigidity than the dielectric layer and the conductive layer. The dielectric layer is mounted to the curved surface in a curved region that has a first curve with the smallest radius of curvature in the curved region, and a second curve that intersects the first curve and has a radius of curvature greater than that of the first curve. The electronic component is disposed in an area of which the longitudinal direction lies along the second curve.
