A vehicle association management method, comprising: when it is monitored that a vehicle arrives at an access control barrier, collecting an image of the vehicle and an image of a person in the vehicle (101); identifying whether the person in the person image is a registered person (102); when it is determined that the person is a non-registered person, identifying whether the vehicle in the vehicle image is a registered vehicle (104); when it is determined that the vehicle is a registered vehicle, storing the image of the person in the vehicle in a pre-set association database in association with the registered person associated with the registered vehicle (105); and sending pre-set alarm information to the registered person and waiting for the answer regarding whether the access control barrier gate is to be opened (106). Further provided are a vehicle association management apparatus (20), and a terminal (1) and a storage medium. According to the present invention, the effectiveness that a non-registered person is driving a registered vehicle can be confirmed with the assistance of a registered person, and an alarm is sent when the condition that the non-registered person is driving the registered vehicle is confirmed, such that the security of use of a vehicle is improved.
