Abstract:
The present invention is a vehicle body assembly line for supplying components in a plurality of zones provided with a plurality of assembly steps while a vehicle body is hoistably loaded on a vehicle body transport carriage on a floor conveyer and transported, and the a vehicle body is assembled; wherein the vehicle-body assembly line has: a vehicle-body-type-determining device for determining the type of the vehicle body; a hoist device for hoisting the vehicle body to a position corresponding to the assembly height in the assembly step of the zone that is set in advance according to the vehicle-body type determined by the vehicle-body-type-determined device; and a component-supplying system for supplying components to each of the assembly steps, the components being set in advance according to the vehicle body type.
