Abstract:
This vehicle body frame comprises a pair of side frames that are provided set apart in the vehicle width direction and that extend along the vehicle front-rear direction, and a cross member that connects the pair of side frames together at the rearmost section of the vehicle. The pair of side frames have a first region provided spanning in the vehicle front-rear direction to the rearmost section of the vehicle, and a second region provided spanning from the front end of the first region toward the front of the vehicle, the first region being formed with less deformation strength in the vehicle front-rear direction than the second region. The cross member has: a front leg portion that extends in the vehicle width direction and is connected to the second region; and a rear leg portion that is provided set apart from the front leg portion in the vehicle-rearward direction, that extends in the vehicle width direction, and that is connected to the first region.
