Abstract:
This vehicle body structure comprises: a pair of side frames extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction with a gap therebetween in the vehicle width direction; and a cross member that extends in the vehicle width direction so as to connect the pair of side frames, that passes through the side walls of the side frames, and that is joined to the side frames. At least the side walls of the side frames have side frame reinforcement members extending in the vehicle longitudinal direction and reinforcing the side frames, and joint reinforcement members that are joined to the side walls of the side frames and the cross member and that reinforce joints between the cross member and the side frames. The side frame reinforcement members extend to the vicinity of the cross member in the vehicle longitudinal direction when viewed from the vehicle width direction, and the joint reinforcement members have overlapping parts that overlap the side frame reinforcement members when viewed from the vehicle width direction.
