Abstract:
A model formula representing the relationship between an error between the actual stop position of a vehicle and a predetermined stop position and running condition parameters used in automatic stop control is calculated on the basis of machine learning, said error indicating the result of performing the automatic stop control in order to stop at the predetermined stop position using the running condition parameters. The stop error of the next stop position of a current running vehicle is estimated on the basis of a model formula calculated in the past. A parameter to be changed, which is included in the running condition parameters, is specified, and the parameter to be changed, which is used in the automatic stop control, is updated to a value for correcting the stop error of the running vehicle.
