Abstract:
[Problem] To enable execution of condition diagnosis on an electric oil pump while reducing a feeling of discomfort imparted to a driver. [Solution] This control device for a vehicle, which is provided with an automatic transmission having a first oil pump driven by a first driving source for driving drive wheels and a second oil pump driven by a second driving source, causes driving of the second oil pump when the first driving source has been activated and when a period in which the second oil pump is not driven after activation of the first driving source has lasted for a prescribed time period or longer. The period for driving the second oil pump when the first driving source has been activated is longer than the period for the driving when a duration in which the second oil pump is not driven has lasted for the prescribed time period or longer.
