Abstract:
A control device of a vehicle including a drive shaft, a fastening element, an engine which is connected to the drive shaft by way of the fastening element, and an electric motor which is connected to the drive shaft not by way of the fastening element includes a control unit which stops the engine following a maintained period in which the engine is maintained at a prescribed rotational speed while the vehicle is traveling. The control unit releases the fastening element by gradually decreasing a fastening capacity of the fastening element while gradually increasing a power generation load of the electric motor during the maintained period, and stops the engine after the fastening element has been released.
