Abstract:
An HCU (20) is used on a vehicle having an autonomous driving mode in which every driving task is executed by a system, and a plurality of manual driving modes of different autonomous levels. When switching to the autonomous driving mode is made during a manual driving mode, the HCU (20) requests a user to perform an operation corresponding to the autonomous level of the current operation mode as an operation for switching to the autonomous driving mode. The number of times of a series of operations for switching to the autonomous driving mode is set such that the lower the autonomous level of the current mode, the more times the operations are to be performed.
