Title:
VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/056859
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
When, among a plurality of CPUs (14-16), the A-CPU (14) develops a fault, limp-mode control is performed so that the drive force for a vehicle is controlled by the CPUs (15, 16) other than the A-CPU (14). Under the limp-mode control, the CPUs (15, 16) other than the A-CPU (14) assess the shift position on the basis of the signals outputted by shift sensors (18), and a deallocation assessment is performed in which the assessable shift positions are brought lower than those under normal circumstances. A configuration is thereby adopted in which the shift position is assessed and limp mode is performed, even during limp-mode control after the A-CPU (14) has developed the fault. In order for the deallocation assessment to be performed, a configuration is adopted in which the number of signal lines connecting the shift sensors (18) and the CPUs (14-16) is brought lower than in a configuration in which all of the signals from the shift sensors (18) are inputted into the CPUs (14-16).
