Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle control device with which a shutoff device for shutting off current flowing to a load can be diagnosed quickly, while ensuring the precision of the current, during operation of the load. A smoothing capacitor (8) is connected in parallel with linear solenoid valves (13a, 13b). A shutoff device (3a) for shutting off the current and a reverse connection protection device (4a) are series-connected from a battery (2) to a first connection point (P1) of the linear solenoid valves (13a, 13b) and the smoothing capacitor (8). A discharge unit (DU) is connected to a second connection point (P2) of the shutoff device (3a) and the reverse connection protection device (4), and discharges the electric charge at the second connection point (P2).
