Abstract:
The present invention implements timeout detection in which, if an abnormality has occurred in a task, then irrespective of whether a critical section is being executed, necessary interrupt prohibition and abnormal interrupt prohibition are distinguished from one another by determining a preset task execution time and whether the critical section (CS) is required by design for a certain time. This vehicle control device is provided with a task executing means for causing a system to execute a task, and an interrupt processing means for carrying out interrupt processing during execution of the task. Interrupts include maskable interrupts and non-maskable interrupts which are instructed to be executed after the maskable interrupts. During an interrupt-prohibited period the maskable interrupts are instructed to be executed, and the non-maskable interrupts are executed.
