Abstract:
The present invention provides a vehicle control device which, by reducing transmission data volumes, can suppress processing load increases, which decrease sharply, that occur when a fault occurs. Provided is a vehicle control device having a plurality of communication paths among a plurality of control units, wherein the control units comprise: an error information detecting means that detects error information relating to the control units; and a communication control unit that, in accordance with the error information, selects at least one of the plurality of communication paths and controls the volume of data transmitted thereon within a single period.
