Abstract:
Disclosed is a vehicle control device. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the vehicle control device detects a malfunction of a camera capturing an image of a driver of a vehicle and comprises: an interface unit connected to a display and a camera inside the vehicle; a processor receiving, via the interface unit, an image obtained by the camera, and evaluating the received image on the basis of a plurality of features, wherein the image is evaluated depending on whether the plurality of features satisfy conditions that allow recognition of the driver in the vehicle; and a memory storing malfunction information of the camera corresponding to an evaluation result of the image, wherein the processor controls the display such that the display displays the malfunction information of the camera if the evaluation result of the image is determined as defective.
