Abstract:
This vehicle door apparatus comprises: a mobile body detection unit which is configured so as to detect a mobile body approaching the door of a vehicle; a door opening operation detection unit which is configured so as to detect a door opening operation by an occupant in the vehicle; a door opening movement restriction unit which is configured so as to restrict the opening movement of the door based on the door opening operation if it is detected that a mobile body is approaching; and a door opening movement permission unit which is configured so as to permit the opening movement of the door based on the door opening operation if a predetermined number of door opening operations are detected while the opening movement of the door is restricted.
