Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle door structure which is capable of reliably locking a sliding door panel and a swinging door panel even when the swinging door panel is in an open state in which the sliding door panel is unlocked with respect to the swinging door panel. The vehicle door structure (1) is equipped with: a slide support mechanism (11A) for supporting a sliding door panel (6) such that said sliding door panel (6) can slide in the front-rear direction of a vehicle (2); a rotation support mechanism (12) for supporting a swinging door panel (7) such that said swinging door panel (7) can rotate; and a door panel locking mechanism (27A) for locking the sliding door panel (6) and the swinging door panel (7) such that the sliding door panel(6) is in a fully open state. The slide support mechanism (11A) has an upper slide rail (13) provided to an upper part of the vehicle (2), and a guided body (16) which is provided to the sliding door panel (6) and which is guided along the upper slide rail (13). An auxiliary rail member (20), which extends towards the exterior of the vehicle (2) in a rearward manner, is provided to a rear end of the upper slide rail (13).
