Abstract:
This vehicle drive device (100) comprises a rotating electric machine (MG), an inverter device (INV), and a case (1). The case (1) comprises a case body (2) and a cover member (13). The case body (2) is integrally formed so as to form a first housing chamber (5) for housing the rotating electric machine (MG) and a second housing chamber (3) for housing the inverter device (INV) and comprises an opening portion (23) that opens from the second housing chamber (3) toward the outside of the case (1). The cover member (13) is disposed so as to cover the opening portion (23) and has a plate-shaped portion, wherein a sheet-shaped damping member (7) having a function of converting vibration to heat is attached thereto so as to cover at least a part of the plate-shaped portion.
