A vehicle driving assistance system in which a base-side communication system receives location information and operation information about vehicles and video information from vehicle-side communication systems and assists in driving a vehicle, since information provision between vehicles requires a large volume of information, said base-side communication system comprising: a reception unit which receives the vehicle information and the video information; a travel path calculation unit which determines a travel path of the vehicle from the vehicle information; an object identification unit which recognizes an object located on the travel path determined by the travel path calculation unit; a collision determination unit which, if it is recognized that an object is located on the travel path, determines whether or not the vehicle might collide with the object; an information determination unit which selects video information to be transmitted, from the video information received from the vehicles, in accordance with the type of the collision determined by the collision determination unit; and a transmission unit which transmits the video information to the vehicle. The base-side communication system transmits video information received from a vehicle, in accordance with driving assistance conditions.
