Abstract:
Disclosed is a vehicle heat pump system for heating engine coolant required for heating by using a refrigeration cycle so as to enable heating performance of a plug-in hybrid vehicle to be improved. The vehicle heat pump system comprises: an evaporator provided inside an air conditioner case so as to exchange heat between air and a refrigerant; a heater core provided inside the air conditioner case so as to exchange heat between the air and the coolant; and a first coolant line for connecting the heater core and an engine so as to allow the coolant to circulate therethrough, and forms: in a cooling mode, a first refrigerant circulation loop for circulating through a compressor for compressing the refrigerant and discharging the same, an air-cooled condenser for exchanging heat between the refrigerant and the air, a first expansion means for expanding the refrigerant, and the evaporator; and, in a heating mode, a second refrigerant circulation loop for circulating through the compressor, a water-cooled heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the refrigerant and the coolant, a second expansion means for expanding the refrigerant, and the air-cooled condenser, wherein the water-cooled heat exchanger is provided on the first coolant line between the engine and the heater core so as to exchange heat between the coolant of the first coolant line and the high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant having passed through the compressor.
